Membership Criteria...

 

- A member of KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. refers to the person who has submitted his/her valid documents to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. while renting the vehicle.

- The documents that will be held valid and accountable will be, a valid Driving License and an Aadhar Card of the concerned person.

- In case of an international resident, a valid Passport, and an International Driving License (of his/her respective country) will be considered as valid documents.

- The concerned person will be named as a valid member only when he/she has agreed to all the Terms and Conditions and Policies of KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

 

NOTE: In any case, if any of the valid documents submitted to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. are found to be fake at any point, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. reserves full rights to take legal action against the member for fraud and forgery.

 

Eligibility Criteria...

 

- In order to rent a car, the person must be a valid member of KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. (Read the Membership Criteria)

- The member must hold both a valid Driving License and an Aadhar Card, in case of an Indian resident OR both a valid Passport and Driving License of his/her respective country, in case of a foreign resident.

- The member must be at least 18 years or above of age.

- Members must have had no alcohol or drug-related driving violations in the past seven years.

- There is no minimum amount of time that an individual must hold a license before becoming a member or reserving a DOORCARS vehicle.

 

NOTE: In any case, if any of the valid documents submitted to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. are found to be fake at any point, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. reserves full rights to take legal action against the member for fraud and forgery.

 

Fees Policy...

 

Security Deposit:

 

- A member must pay a minimum security deposit (depending on the city) at the moment your car is being delivered to you or via app.

- This amount will be in addition to the total booking amount.

- Booking will be only finalized if the member pays the security deposit to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

- The security deposit will be refunded back to you with-in 7-10 working days once you get back the vehicle to the initial pick-up point.

- However, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. holds the right to deduct a considerable amount from the security deposit in case of violation of late return policy, cleanliness policy, over speeding and towing or impounding charges, or returning of the vehicle at a wrong location.

 

Cancellation:

 

- Cancellation made before 24 Hrs. before booking starts: 25% of booking amount

- Cancellation made within 24 Hrs. but greater than 6 hrs of booking start time: 40% of booking amount

- Cancellation made within 6 Hrs. of booking start: No refund

- Cancellation made after booking start: No Refund

 

Rescheduling

 

A booked ride cannot be rescheduled.

 

Extension Post Start

 

- A member will be charged Rs. 500 extra to extend his time period.

- Furthermore, the extended period will be billed at 1.5X the hourly fee as per the pricing plan purchased by the member.

 

Shortening Post Start

 

No Charges or refunds are applicable.

 

Pricing Plan Change

 

A member isn't allowed to change the pricing plan once his/her booking has been finalized.

 

We Give photocopy of our vehicle documents to carry during the ride.

 

Late Return

 

- A member will be charged Rs. 350/Hr. for late return for the first two hours

- A member will be charged Rs. 500/Hr. for subsequent hours after the first two hours.

- This charge will be in addition to the cost of the pricing plan purchased by the member.

 

Payments T&C:

 

1. Payments must be made by the members using their debit/credit card. Member must ensure that his/her credit/debit card has sufficient funds available to cover the billing amount as well as any extra charges if any. Member is solely responsible for any associated bank or credit card charges or fees. Member may be charged a processing fee for a declined credit or debit card payment.

2. In the event, the Member defaults on any payments, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. is entitled to charge reminder fees and default interest in accordance with the provisions of the law. In addition, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. may utilize third parties to collect amounts owed to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. by a Member.

3. With all fees mentioned above, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. reserves the right to prohibit a Member from making a subsequent reservation until all outstanding fees in the Member's account have been paid in full. In the event a fee is incurred, Members will receive an email invoice from KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. that will have detailed payment instructions.

 

List of Penalties...

 

Following is a list of penalties a member is liable to pay for their respective offenses:

 

1. Returning the Vehicle to the wrong location:

   - Rs. 2500+full Hourly fee as per the purchased pricing plan Full late returns fee until the vehicle is returned to the actual location.

 

2. Traffic and Parking Violations

   - Any kind of fines imposed on the member during his ride for violation of traffic rules established by the government, must be paid, in full, by the member only.

   - As these notices take time to reach the car-owner, the notice will be forwarded to the member; once the member receives the notice, he/she must electronically transfer the amount of penalty to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

   - The member will be charged Rs.1000 per 30 days in case he/she fails to comply with the notice forwarded to him.

 

3. No Show or Late Pick-up

   - If a member, after booking the ride, i.e. after paying advance/security deposit amount, fails to show up to pick-up his/her ride 3 Hrs, after the booking period starts, the respective booking will stand cancelled.

   - If a member shows up after his/her booking time has started, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. will not extend the start time in any case, and the member will be at a loss of the time he/she has been late for.

 

4. Over speeding

   - If over speeding is greater than or equal to (>=) 100 K.M./Hr.:

     - The member will be charged at Rs. 1000 on each instance of over speeding recorded by our tracker (over and above any government fine/penalty that may have been levied).

     - The member will be expelled from KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. membership if the over speeding occurs more than two times.

   - If over speeding is greater than or equal to (>=) 120 K.M./Hr.:

     - The member will be fined Rs. 2500 in such case (over and above any government fine/penalty that may have been levied).

     - The member will also face an expulsion from KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. membership.

 

5. Smoking & drinking

   - If a member is ever found smoking in the vehicle OR smoking ash is found in the vehicle OR any smoking smell is experienced in the vehicle at the time of return;

     - The member will be fined Rs. 1500 (+ cleaning charges as per KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. T&C if required

 

).

   - Drinking fine will be Rs 10,000.

 

6. Vehicle Damage

   - In case of vehicle damage of any kind, the member will be responsible for the complete cost of damage up to 50000/-  Amount  (full wrap insurance covers the rest) if the damage is caused due to an unintentional or accidental incident.

   - Per part scratch charge Rs 2000.

   - In case the damage is caused by an intentional act i.e. if the damage is caused due to negligence by the member or because he/she was in violation of law during the incident, the member and only him/her will be completely liable to pay the cost of damage (+) loss of service to the company caused by damage.

   - For complete T&C for Vehicle Damage, please refer to our Vehicle Damage section.

   - If the vehicle is damaged fully when it was running over 100KMPH then full damage charge will be collected from the user.

 

7. Towing and Impounding

   - Member is responsible for the full cost if caused by his/her negligence.

   - Member is not responsible at all if caused by vehicle failure.

   - For the case of vehicle failure, refer to our Vehicle Damage Section.

 

8. Key Not Returned

   - Member will be charged Rs. 200 (+ cost of replacement) in case he/she loses OR damages the key, even up to the smallest extent.

 

9. Cleanliness Policy

   - In case of cigarette ash found; member will be charged Rs. 1500, plus Rs. 500 for washing of foot-mats.

   - In case spoiling of seat covers, door panels, windows panes, regardless being intentional or unintentional, and the cost of interior washing/dry cleaning will be Rs. 2500 that is to be paid in full by the member him/herself only.

   - Exterior washing will be charged to the member at up to Rs. 1000.

 

10. Loss of Vehicle Documents

    - In case the member loses OR destroys the vehicle document, he/she will be fined an amount of Rs. 25000 for the inconvenience caused to the KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

 

Tolls and Inter-State Travel...

 

- All cars under KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. hold an ALL INDIA PERMIT. However, this permit is not applicable within the borders of any of the "Seven Sister" States; i.e. Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Agartala, Mizoram, Manipur, and Nagaland.

- In case of travel to Jammu & Kashmir OR Leh/Ladakh, the member must inform KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. in advance. KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. gives you a cautionary advice regarding travel to J&K OR Leh/Ladakh due to conflicts with their local taxi unions.

- The member is solely responsible for paying any kind of toll tax, private or government while riding in a vehicle rented from KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. doesn't include toll taxes in its pricing plans.

- The member is also requested to complete payment of all State Entry Tax in case of Inter-State Travel while riding in a vehicle rented from KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. doesn't include State Entry Taxes in its pricing plans.

- In case the member fails to comply with the norms of Tolls and State Entry Taxes, established by the Constitution of India for respective States and Union Territories, he/she may face legal action from the government authorities and may be liable to pay considerable fine/penalty, as per government norms.

- In such a case, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. will NOT be responsible for the actions of the member, and will not be liable to cover for any fine/penalty imposed on the member.

 

11. IF you have a confirmed booking and you did not pick your car within 3hrs of your specified pickup time then we reserve the right to cancel your booking.

 

Vehicle Damage Policy...

 

1. In Case of Unintentional or Accidental Incident or Collision

 

- Unintentional or accidental damage refers to any kind of damage that has NOT been caused by the negligence of the member, to whom the vehicle was delivered by KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

- KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. provides unique liability insurance for all of its vehicles.

- In such a case, the member is responsible to bear the cost of damage up to Rs. 25000/-. Any damage above this amount will be covered by a liability insurance purchased for the vehicle.

- The damage cost will be deducted from the security deposit. If the security deposit doesn't cover the cost of damage, for any reason, the member will be obligated to pay the additional amount as an additional payment.

- The member, however, will be solely responsible to pay for any kind of damage done to an external property owned by any government or private authority, caused due to the incident or collision.

- The member will be solely responsible for any towing or impounding charges i.e. the member is owed to pay the charges for the towing van used to bring the damaged vehicle back to the pick-up point.

- If, however, the member is found to be in violation of traffic rules or laws established in the constitution of India, OR found to be in violation of the terms and conditions of KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. he/she will be responsible for paying the complete cost of damage and will be treated under the rules of "Intentional incident/collision".

- The member is also liable to pay complete i.e. 100% cost of damage and service loss caused to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. due to damage if the insurance company deems the damage intentional or consequential (which will be stated in the accident report).

- KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. also reserves a right to take legal action against any member (apart from the fines imposed on the member) for the damage caused to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

 

2. In case of Intentional Incident or Collision:

 

- Intentional incident or collision refers to the fact that the collision was caused due to the negligence of the member in complying with the traffic laws established in the constitution of India OR terms and conditions of KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

- In such case the member is solely responsible and liable to pay the complete i.e. 100% cost of damage and an amount of Rs. 25000 as a penalty for losses bear by KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

- In such case, KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. reserves a right to refuse to apply for liability insurance claim to cover for vehicle damage and impose the complete cost of damage to the member.

- KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD.. also reserves a right to take legal action against any member (apart from the fines imposed on the member) for the damage caused to KAM DOORCARS PVT. LTD..

#  Outstation Travel: Outstation travel(for Goa) is available for an additional fee. The charges for outstation travel are determined based on the distance traveled and are is chargeable. fore more details contact fleet manager.

#  For rentals taking place in Goa, All the dues must be settle immidiatly (at the time of vehicle submission).

 

For any kind of legal matter, the jurisdiction will be Jaipur.
